    Where’s SitePoint on that list?

(Disclosure: While I am a SitePoint Community Advisor, I am not asking on their behalf. I’m just curious, as that’s the forum I was going to vote for.)

  2. Dan, Sitepoint is there on the list now. :)

    Please keep your suggestions coming!

Well, I voted for Netbuilders, getting bored of DP now. Rules there are too strict and unfriendly.
Netbuilders is surely fast growing with a huge and active community.

I vote for Cre8asiteforums, which didn’t make your list. It’s been around since 1998 and is focused on web site marketing and development.

I voted for V7 Network! Aside from being the friendliest webmaster forum on the net today, V7N provides quality discussions from an array of topics ranging from Internet Marketing, SEO, Blogging, Tech Support, Graphic/Web Design, Online Business and a lot more allowing its member to evolve professionally and individually.

The admins and moderators of V7N are also friendly! What can you ask for? :)

I am a member of all of those webmaster forums, except Cre8aSite. All of them have their good points and some have some bad points. But overall, there is a wealth of information to be found on those sites.

My personal opinion though – V7N, DigitalPoint, and the Warrior Forum has some really good information about how to make money and promote your site.

SEO chat is probably one of the rudest forums I have ever visited.

Netbuilders is still new, but growing fast.

Sitepoint is ok, but they disabled guest viewing of signatures. Which hurt a lot of their members.

webcosmoforums should have been on the list. Its a pretty good forum.

I’m a member at several of these forums. I spend most of my online time at v7n. Integrity is possibly their motto.

  16. a.k.a regmac says:

Aside from v7n and seochat, I think seoers.org, webmaster-talk.com and site-reference.com should also be included.

  17. a.k.a regmac says:

I just wanna say thank you for adding the suggested seo and webmasters forums.. My mentioned forums are really helpful for me and I’ve learned so many things from them. Hope I could see those 5 in the top 10..

  18. Ash says:

    Netbuilders – hell yeah!

I started my internet career at namepros, then graduated to WF, V7N and DP.

DP was so full of shit and I decided to quit – magically, quitting DP influenced my productivity and growth positively.

NetBuilders rocks right now – primarily because, the members there [ including me ] have a ton of enthusiasm, ideas and want to really share information and not just drop crazy affiliate links [ remember Shoe? ].

I think that they are all excellent forums, many of which I am a member of. Each of appeal to different groups of people. The wonderful thing about the net is making so many options available to choose which best meet our needs.

  21. a.k.a regmac says:

    @Mike, I surely will.

Hmmm.. I think I remember your name from BloggerTalk forum, am I right? That was a good forum then (used to be one of the supermods there) but it was flooded with spam and was brought to closure for good. (I just missed deleting a lot of spam post there.)

  22. I got most help from SP on tech issues. For marketing etc I learned a lot from V7N, DP in early days. Then when I got my own webmaster forum, that was the place for me to learn; specially because we had a small group of people willing to help each other.

  23. Mike Dammann says:

RIP Blogger Talk. It was fun but become far to demanding and I got tired of it. Am still hanging at some of the above mentioned forum from time to time. :)

    Nice to see you again.

    Mike
